Happy Birthday Buddha

Happy Birthday my baby boy!!!
Well, we're not sure when your birthday really is. But Feb. 21, 2006 is when we adopted you and was the day we said was your birthday. You were probably around 3 years old when we got you. What a handsome little man you were and are!!! I was so happy to be your new mom.

I don't know how much you knew what was going on. But I hoped that you were happy with your new family. Of course your new Dada loved you. Less than we week after you came home with me, we bought you a new room (cage). You had all kinds of toys!

Not too long after, I took you to see the vet, Dr. Julie Smith at Friendship Hospital for Animals. Lucky you that we did that. Because you got a bigger room (the dining room). And then we made a date for you to meet a wife-bun at the Colorado House Rabbit Society in Broomfield. There you met and fell in love with Brigit and the rest is history.

I miss you so much Buddha. Yes, I'm better, Dada is good and Briggie is doing fine. But we miss you so much. I always think about you before I go to bed. I wonder if there was anything more that I could have done for you. I wonder if I shouldn't have done certain things. Buddha baby, I just miss you so much. And I'm so sorry that I couldn't save your life. But I guess it was your time to go. That's something that I'm having a hard time dealing with. For all it's worth Buu, you taught me a lot. I never knew that bunnies could be wonderful members of the family. It's quite amazing how you each have your own personalities.
